Mark hauled back hard and the rod bent sharply downward, twitching and bucking in response to whatever had fastened itself firmly to the hook on the business end of the line. "Yep, they're here" he called over his shoulder. The water churned and boiled and soon the unmistakable whiskered maw of a dandy Channel Catfish appeared as he pulled it ashore.
