Good to hear. What were you doing in Canada? I have not shoot a deer yet. Usually have a few doe tags filled by now. The only thing I have seen have been small bucks. I did rattle two in last week so they are getting active. I have everything ready for trapping, it starts on Nov 6th for us and I am looking forward to it. Gana try to snare some beavers this year. I am taking a lot of time off from work starting Nov 5th, I have 7 weeks of comp and vac to use! I will use some and save some for Late Muzzeloader season. We have killed a few geese and Duck season just opened for us. Hope you have a good season. Keep me posted.

How was your summer? Are you ready for trapping season yet? I got my traps out today and started to dye them, using walnuts this year. Hope you have a good season.

Sounds like your doing well then. I hear ya on the fur market. I am still going to take about 3 weeks off work and trap, need to get out of here for a while. I went fishing in Alaska this year. When I get a chance I will post some pictures from that trip it was a great time. We are ready to kill some ducks on Saturday, took Friday night off so I can be well rested.

Won a draw once that gave myself and a friend privileged licence to kill 2 animals each... was in Northern Quebec in Hudson Bay region... lots of fun and millions of animals running threw there during the season between January and February " awesome"

Tell me about it lol. I just spent $180 on a case of $3 1/2 inch. $6 a box for lead can do some damage also. Gonna have to start selling kidneys and stuff.

Its a minimum of 3 1/2 hours for me. for the price of gas at 12 mpg, i could spend that one something else.
