Our bear population has soared since they took away our spring bear hunt to appease PETA. Biggest mistake they ever made. I have seen sows with 4 and 5 cubs now because they are being bread by three or four boars in the fall. Its rediculous. Last year when I shot my bear the bush was so thick with other bears they were circling me waiting to eat the guts and what ever else I left behind. Never seen that before. Very unnerving.

You bet, It is a totally different experience the deer hunting. The one year I had a sow (female bear) sit at the bottom of my tree stand and try to decide wether she needed to climb up and check me out. Thankfully she just went and ate with her cub and left me only. It was a experience I will never forget.
