Hey- how'd your Missouri and Tennessee seasons go?! Did you see any of the nice bucks you had pre-season? We had a huge, but young 16-pointer on our trail cam but never saw him and haven't heard of him shot so hoping he made it for another season! My husband got a nice 8-pointer that we've had on trail cameras for the last three years and my brother got a neat 160" that he had one picture of pre-season but unfortunately he broke his brows off! I didn't fill my buck tag this year, but saw lots of great bucks and harvested two does so still a great year.

That's sweet you have some early season hunts lined up! Hope you have luck and let me know how you do! I absolutely can't wait for October 1st to roll around- I am so ready to get out there that it isn't even funny! We've been working hard at getting all the stands ready and setting new ones and moving trail cams around. Have some great bucks that I'm hoping some of us will meet in person! One is an awesome 16-pointer we've had on camera in velvet and now hard horn. I will have to check out your pics!!! So exciting to get a glimpse of the big bucks out there! Hope you have a great season!

Wow- sounds like you guys had an awesome season! Congrats! We were also filming turkey hunts- ended up getting three successfully on film- one of them being my husband's first turkey with a bow so that was really neat.

    Hey Rocky
Just thought i would drop by on you and see how it's going. I went out scouting on Saturday and saw 6 Turkeys 2 of them Jakes, 12 deer 3 of them bucks (in velvet) and 1 coyote. I also have a new Cannon HD video Camera coming in next week. Should be able to get some good footage and brake it in the right way.

Thanks, Rocky! That is awesome to experience it together! The dang turkeys have my number though- I've never harvested one in the spring out of a blind! Only in the fall from a tree stand. Let's hope this is our lucky year! We'll also be videoing so hopefully we'll get some good footage! Can't wait to hear how your guys' season goes! Good luck! Smile

wow man you have got the turkeys i wish we still had turkeys like that we use to but we have had about 4 years of rough hatches so our turkey population isnt very good right now and yeah food plots will be the single greatest thing you have ever done to improve your deer huting success i promise you it has changed our harvest rate and size of harvest dramatically
