- Hunting for over 50 years in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia,Canada with over 55 deer harvested of which only 3 were does. We started hunting to keep are family in meat. I have deer calling back to me with a new vocalization sense 1985 but cannot even give it away let alone have them come down and hear the deer. They vocalize about 2 hours a day, 3 times a day,every day, every month in Oct, Nov. and December. John E Parks
