- I grew up in northwest iowa. My grandpa O'Brien and Uncle Tom got me started in hunting. I have been hunting ever since i can remember on our farm in NW iowa. I started out hunting pheasants behind our late shorthair Freckles. I also enjoy bow hunting and shotgun hunting whitetails. One of my favorite hunts currently is waterfowl. I am also taking an interest in Elk hunting and will be putting in for tags this year in Montana.
