Brief Biography:
My name is Tenasha aka Taz. I live in northern ontario in a town of a wopping 300 people called Magnetawan. My husband and I are expecting our first baby this fall, so I may miss this season. This will be my 5th yr hunting so I hope to have many years to come of great hunting seasons dreams and memories. Now looking forward to teaching my new lil one how to hunt and shoot a bow. I am a compound bow hunter. I go to archery tournaments in the spring summer and fall to keep in tune with my bow. I just pulled my bow out there the other day and did some target practice in my back yard. When I cant hunt and cant go to shoots I race alaskan sled dogs. Love my out door sports. I am also an avid photographer in my spare time also. I have a debate some days wether to pick up the bow or the camera. Laughing I have a saying... well a few actually but my favourite is "I like getting muddy and love to get bloody!"

    Hi Taz,

I created a group called Team Huntress for all the women hunters on this site. I'd love it if you'd join! You can search for it under groups or add it from my profile.

    Hope you'll join!

We went fishing last year at Eagle Lake. Can you recomend any better lakes in the area? We usually go up to Flin Flon at Lake Amisk and have great luck there but it is 24 hours from Iowa. We look for Muskey, Pike, and Walley

I like my Bow a lot. It's quick and it's quite. It's not as quite as some of the ones out there, but for the money you cannot beat it. I like the one that Primos came out with this year better though. Anyway, our bow season starts this sat. Pretty pumped about it. I will let you know how it goes. What about you guys up there?

I hunt in the Magnetawan area for deer. We go thru Burkes Falls to get there. Can't really explain the area we are in, just that we drive past some creepy looking place where they make cement statues. We are about a 1/2 hour drive from there down some back roads.

I started gun hunting for the last 10 years and archery for the last 8. Personally I havent touched a gun in the last 3, I rather Archery hunt any day. I was shooting a Ultra Tech, but I just sold it and I am looking for a new bow for next season. How about yourself, what do you shoot? and how long have you been hunting?

Well, I didn't really start until this past season... When I was a 8, I remember being fascinated with hunting... I had subscriptions to Hunt, Hunting, and Field and Stream magazines...lol... I couldn't wait to turn 12....
Then, I got out of it somehow.... and didn't give it much thought for years. I bought my house in a rural community that has a lot of hunters, and I one of my co-workers suggested I go with him to hunt a bear. So I did. Now I'm hooked. Now I film hunts part time with my vid company.... so... that's my story... not very interesting, but you asked for it! How are you?
