- I live in NW Nebraska, and grew up in the sandhills of Nebraska. I've been hunting deer for about 3 years, and dove for about 4 years. My fishing buddy "shamed" me into going deer hunting, and my neighbor showed me how to process my own deer. I try to workout and stay in reasonable shape so that when I hunt the sandhills, I can spot and stalk and take the perfect shot. I love getting out in the middle of nowhere by myself and hunting deer. As far as dove hunting goes, I get all "camoed" up and grab whoever will go with me.
